Mike works with media outlets to engage audiences of all ages on issues of scientific importance, and is called upon by news organizations to share his expertise on a number of issues. In addition to appearing in documentaries on National Geographic, Animal Planet, and the Discovery Channel, Mike has given interviews to networks as diverse as the Today Show, Telemundo 51, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and the British Broadcasting Company. Mike has also appeared on numerous local stations from Honolulu to Charlotte to Milwaukee, and has been a radio guest on NPR, CBS, and ABC.
